NO – WebWatcher for Android does not require you to “root” the target Android device. Rooting is not only complicated, but also voids the device’s warranty, and if the device upgrades to a newer Android version in the future, the “root” will be wiped out. Beware of competitors that require you to “root” the target device.

WebWatcher for Android is compatible with devices running Android version 2.1 or higher.

While we make every effort to upgrade to be compatible with new operating systems, WebWatcher cannot guarantee compatibility with future operating systems. Refunds will not be issued if the target device uses an unsupported operating system that is NOT listed above. See Refund Policy

YES – WebWatcher for Android requires physical access to the device you are authorized to monitor. This means that if the target Android device has a password lock, you will need to have password access to install WebWatcher.

Recorded data will begin to display in your WebWatcher account in near real-time. This means that once WebWatcher for Android is installed on the target device, recorded data will start to appear in the account after that activity takes place on that device.

NO – WebWatcher does not offer a wiretapping service and will not voice record conversations that take place. However, WebWatcher for Android does record a history of calls that have taken place. This feature is called “Call Log History” which includes call duration, time of call and phone numbers.

NO – WebWatcher can be purchased from any device. However, the software must be installed directly on the target device you are authorized to monitor.

YES – WebWatcher for Android records most deleted SMS text messages.

*WebWatcher captures both the content and the time-stamp of deleted text messages (sender and recipient data are not currently captured.

YES – WebWatcher for Android is compatible with all Android devices (including tablets) running Android version 2.1 or higher.
